In his new position, Mallory highlighted the firm’s solid base and the need to stay concentrated and disciplined. He was optimistic about Flexential’s future, saying the trust customers have placed in it as well as the company’s capability to succeed even in a difficult environment are key.
Strategic Continuity and Growth
The leadership change demonstrates Flexential’s succession planning for the long term, providing continuity as the company grows to support customer needs. During Mallory’s tenure, Flexential looks to grow services in alignment with the explosive growth of artificial intelligence (AI) and hyperscale computing. These technology trends are compounding greater power requirements, more stringent efficiency expectations, and emerging interconnection expectations throughout the industry.
Flexential offers secure and scalable data center services throughout the U.S., providing colocation, cloud, connectivity, data protection, and professional services. Its FlexAnywhere® platform roots its services in more than 40 data centers within 18 highly networked markets on a scalable 100Gbps+ private network backbone.
A Legacy of Leadership

In looking back on his time at the company, Downie was thankful for the team’s collaborative culture and assured confidence in Mallory to take the company to new heights.
Looking Ahead
As Flexential moves forward to this new chapter with Mallory at the helm, the business is well-positioned to leverage increased demand for digital infrastructure solutions. With a priority on innovation, scalability, and customer confidence, Flexential will continue to provide high-quality services that address the changing needs of its customers in a more digital age.
