Rudy Giuliani Hospitalized After Car Accident in New Hampshire, Reportedly in Good Spirits
Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City, was hospitalized over the weekend following a serious car accident in New Hampshire. The 81-year-old was reportedly in “good spirits” after receiving medical treatment for his injuries.
According to a statement from Giuliani’s head of security, Michael Ragusa, the incident occurred on Saturday evening. Prior to the crash, Giuliani had stopped to assist a woman who was reportedly a victim of a domestic violence incident. He contacted emergency services and stayed with the woman until officers arrived to ensure her safety.
Shortly after this, while traveling on the highway, Giuliani’s vehicle was hit from behind at high speed. He was rushed to a nearby trauma center, where doctors treated him for a fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple cuts and bruises, and injuries to his left arm and lower leg.
Despite the severity of the accident, sources say Giuliani remains in good spirits and is recovering under medical care.
